Police/Fire/EMS report August 7, 2013

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 52 incidents on Monday and the early hours of Tuesday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Assault on the 200 block of North West Road, the 100 block of Frost Street, the 1700 block of Gadsden Drive and the 1700 block of Edgerly Avenue;

— Interfering with a city officer on the 2200 block of Lullwater Road;

— Theft by shoplifting on the 200 block of Cordele Road, the 500 block of South Slappey Boulevard, the 300 block of South Slappey Boulevard and the 2600 block of Dawson Road;

— Burglary on the 300 block of Cannon Avenue, the 800 block of West Whitney Avenue, the 1400 block of Whispering Pines Road, the 1600 block of Gardner Drive and the 1400 block of Elva Street;

— Domestic violence (unfounded) on the 500 block of South Madison Street, the 1400 block of West Highland Avenue, the 2300 block of Evergreen Drive and the 1300 block of East 1st Avenue;

— Wanted person on the 600 block of Mission Court and the 1700 block of Newton Road;

— Forgery on the 200 block of Patrol Drive;

— Driving under the influence (alcohol) on the 2900 block of Sylvester Road;

— Robbery by sudden snatching on the 600 block of Moultrie Road;

— Financial transaction card theft on the 900 block of Moultrie Road;

— Criminal trespass on the 900 block of Desota Street, the 600 block of Jeffries Avenue, the 700 block of West Fourth Avenue, the 200 block of South Madison Street, the 2800 block of Old Dawson Road, the 300 block of South Mock Road, the 400 block of Ebony Lane and the 1900 block of Cobblestone Court;

— Open container violation on the 2300 block of Palmyra Road;

— Theft by deception on the 1600 block of South Slappey Boulevard;

— Recovered property on the 1800 block of Acker Drive, the 300 block of Flint Avenue, and the 1700 block of Lowell Lane;

— Lost of mislaid property on the the 2600 block of Dawson Road, the 500 block of 9th Avenue and the 400 block of South Westover Boulevard;

— Terrorist threats and acts on the 300 block of Gaines Avenue;

— Public indecency on the 500 block of South Shadowlawn Drive and the 1400 block of East Residence Avenue;

— Soliciting to vehicles on the 200 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Robbery by force on the 2300 block of Greenleaf Court;

— Missing person on the 800 block of Crawford Drive and the 900 block of Cherry Avenue;

— Theft by taking on the 300 block of South Mock Road, the 1000 block of West Gordon Avenue;

— Criminal damage to property on the 1100 block of Wingate Avenue;

— Financial transaction card fraud on the 700 block of North Westover Boulevard.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty Police Department responded to at least 12 calls on Monday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Family violence on the 2600 block of Great Oak Drive;

— Auto accident on the 500 block of Southgate Avenue and the 2200 block of Liberty Expressway;

— Burglary on the 3200 block of Sylvester Road.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least five calls on Monday, available records show. The incidents included structure fire, activated alarm, shorted water heater and EMS assistance.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to 59 calls on Monday, available records show. There were 48 medical calls, nine trauma calls and one assist for the Albany Fire Department.

The medical calls included six respiratory issues, four seizures, four miscellaneous pain calls, three chest pains, two faintings, one altered mental statusl, one OB/labor call and 27 various medical calls.

The trauma calls included six falls, two assaults and one auto accident victim.
