CAMILLA — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is investigating the homicide of a Mitchell County man found dead in his Morey Hill Road home early Saturday morning.
Authorities say Bobby Anglon, 66, was killed sometime between Friday night and 1 a.m. Saturday. His body was discovered by his daughter, who called 911.
GBI agents said there were no visible wounds on the body and several items were missing from the home, including a gray safe box.
Investigators are unsure whether someone forced his way into the home or Anglon knew the killer.
Anglon’s body was sent to the State Crime Lab in Macon and investigators say they will not release the cause of death until receiving the results of an autopsy.
Agents say they have no suspects at this time.
