BAINBRIDGE — “Duck Dynasty” stars Jase and Missy Robertson are coming to Bainbridge on Sept. 8 to help raise funds for Grace Christian Academy.
WHAT: The Follow, Grace Christian Academy fundraising event
WHO: “Duck Dynasty” stars Jase and Missy Robertson
WHEN: Sunday, Sept. 8
WHERE: Bainbridge State College Student Wellness Center
The A&E’s reality television series follows the lives of the Robertson family, located in West Monroe, La., and their business of making duck calls and other products for duck hunters. Their lives on the show are also characterized by their conservative values and Christian faith.
Now in its fourth season, the series has enjoyed some of the network’s highest ratings since its debut in March 2012.
Jase Robertson is the son of family matriarch, Phil. He and his wife, Missy, will serve as the special guests for Grace Christian Academy’s premiere fundraising event, “The Follow.”
Grace Christian Academy Director of Development Cile Warr said, “The Foundation Board decided that we really wanted to invite a big speaker who captivates interest and shares a great message. The Robertsons were our first choice. “They exhibit Christian values, and they are very popular down here in Southwest Georgia.
It’s a great connection for our school.”
On the night of the fundraiser, Jase and Missy will host a meet-and-greet, which is sold out. Following that event, the Robertsons will present “Faith, Family & Ducks,” and answer questions. Missy also will sing at the event.
Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased through the school’s website, www.gcacougars.org, or through Ticketleap.com at www.gcathefollow.ticketleap.com/gcacougarsevent.
“The Follow” begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Bainbridge State College Student Wellness Center located at 2500 E. Shotwell St. in Bainbridge.
