Police and fire reports - Aug. 30, 2013

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 38 incidents on Wednesday and the early hours of Thursday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Forgery on the 1000 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Criminal trespass on the 600 block of Burke Avenue, the 700 block of Crawford Drive, the 600 block of North Haley Street, the 1500 block of West Highland Avenue, the 700 block of Cedar Avenue, the 600 block of Dorsett Avenue and the 2600 block of Dawson Road;

— Recovered property on the 1800 block of East Broad Avenue and the 200 block of Tompkins Avenue;

— Entering auto on the 200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard and the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive;

— Unruly juvenile on the the 600 block of Johnson Road;

— Indecent exposure on the 1100 block of South McKinley Street;

— Robbery by snatching on the 1000 block of South McKinley Street;

— Theft by taking on the 2500 block of Homewood Drive, the 300 block of Carriage Lane, the 100 block of East Road, the 700 block of South Street, the 400 block of South Cleveland Street and the 1000 block of Dunes Avenue;

— Disorderly conduct on the 2300 block of West Gordon Avenue and the 200 block of South Davis Street;

— Burglary on the 1300 block of Hobson Drive and the 1500 block of Clark Avenue;

— Theft of services on the 100 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Battery on the 500 block of Pine Avenue and the 400 block of West 3rd Avenue;

— Interfering with a city police officer on the 400 block of Cleveland Street;

— Obstructing law enforcement on the 2000 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Criminal damage to property on the 500 block of North Westover Boulevard and the 2400 block of West Gordon Avenue;

— Theft of lost or mislaid property on the 700 block of Cedar Avenue;

— Driving on suspended license on the 300 block of Thornton Drive and the 400 block of South Mckinley Street;

— Assault on the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty Police Department responded to at least eight calls on Wednesday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Theft on the 3600 block of Plumcrest Avenue;

— Wanted person on the 3000 block of War Eagle Drive;

— Traffic stop on the 3700 block of Sylvester Road;

— Traffic arrest/narcotics on the 1700 block of Lily Pond Road.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 11 calls on Wednesday, available records show. The incidents included activated fire alarms, unauthorized burning, kitchen fire, smoke odor, gas odor and structure fires.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to 64 calls on Wednesday, available records show. There were 46 medical calls and 18 trauma calls.

The medical calls included four respiratory issues, three miscellaneous pains, three chest pains, one fainting, one altered mental status, one diabetic issue, one seizure and 31 various medical calls.

The trauma calls included seven auto accident victims, five lacerations, three falls and one assault.
