Former President Jimmy Carter is scheduled to teach Sunday school this Sunday at Maranatha Baptist Church in Plains.


Central Baptist Church’s Women’s Ministry will be hosting the “Living Proof Live Simulcast with Beth Moore” from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 14. Tickets are $20 and include a box lunch, refreshments and more. Tickets may be purchased online at albanycentralbaptist.net. All proceeds will be used for Central Baptist Women’s Ministry projects. Mt. Zion Baptist Church is switching to two morning worship services starting this Sunday. The Rev. Daniel Simmons will deliver sermons at 9 a.m. and at 10:15 a.m. Sunday School will begin at 9 a.m. The church is located at 901 S. Westover Road.

Beulah Land Missionary Baptist Church of Cordele will be celebrating the Rev. James Dexter Taylor Sr’s fourth anniversary at the church on October 6 4 p.m. The Rev. Jerry D. Black Pastor of Beulah Missionary Baptist Church of Decatur will be guest speaker.

Grace Free Will Baptist Church in Moultrie will conduct revival services at 7 p.m. Tuesday-Friday. The speaker will be Brother Charles McCardle.
