Albany utility officials prepare the city's official Christmas tree for Saturday's events.

Employees with the city of Albany Water, Gas & Light Commission install the city's official Christmas tree Monday on the grounds of the Albany-Dougherty County Governmental Building, 222 Pine Ave. The tree will be lighted in memory of the late Joe Courson when the city conducts its annual Celebration of Lights Christmas parade downtown. Festivities start at 5 p.m. Saturday with the parade getting under way at 6 p.m. (Video by Laura Williams)
