ALBANY — A criminal trespass call to the Albany Police Department on Sunday morning revealed that a woman’s car door window had been shot out by a BB gun, reports show.
Reports show police were called to 1518 Malone Drive at around 9:30 a.m. Sunday. There, a 52-year-old woman said her 1999 Dodge Caravan middle window on the driver’s side had been shot out with a BB gun sometime after 6:30 p.m. the evening before. She told police she did not know of anyone who would want to do any damage to her vehicle, the report said.
The monetary value associated with the damage was less than $500, the victim said to police.
ALBANY POLICE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Police Department responded to a least 35 calls Saturday, Sunday and into the early hours of Monday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Possession of marijuana on the 1000 block of University Street;
— Missing person (juvenile) on the 800 block of Rosedale Avenue and on the 1400 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Unruly juvenile on the 500 block of Ebony Lane and on the 1000 block of North Van Buren Street;
— Criminal trespass on the 1000 block of West Gordon Avenue and on the 400 block of Bonnyview Avenue;
— Burglary in the 2nd degree on the 1400 block of East Second Avenue;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 2800 block of Nottingham Way and on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;
— Entering auto on the 2300 block of Downing Court and on the 1100 block of Gillespie Avenue;
— Wanted person on the 700 block of Johnny W. Williams Road;
— Burglary in the 1st degree on the 900 block of West Society Avenue and on the 3500 block of Habersham Road;
— Terroristic threats and acts on the 2000 block of West Broad Avenue;
— Simple battery, criminal trespass on the 600 block of Mission Court;
— Battery on the 400 block of Cordele Road;
— Theft by taking on the 1500 block of North Slappey Boulevard and on the 2100 block of Beachview Drive;
— Disorderly conduct on the 1600 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard and on the 300 block of Grant Place;
— Reckless conduct on the 1100 block of 10th Avenue;
— Driving under the influence (less safe) on the 200 block of North Davis Street;
— Interference with an officer on the 700 block of West Society Avenue and on the 500 block of Corn Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 16 calls Saturday and Sunday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Criminal trespass warning on the 2600 block of Homestead Avenue and on the 4400 block of Acree Avenue;
— Family violence on the 900 block of Phoebe Road;
— Animal investigation on the 400 block of Dunbar Lane;
— Traffic accident (deer) on the 3800 block of Gillionville Road and at Byron Plantation Road and Old Dawson Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 25 calls from Wednesday morning through Sunday evening, available reports show. The incidents included downed cables, structure fires, shorted electrical devices and arcing wires, trash fires, a car fire, EMS assistance and a grass fire.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to 64 calls on Sunday, available reports show. There were 56 medical calls and eight trauma calls.
The majority of the medical calls included, but were not limited to, eight respiratory issue calls, four chest pain calls, three seizure calls, three mental health calls, two fainting calls, two miscellaneous pain calls, one altered mental status call and 26 various medical calls. The trauma calls included five falls and three auto accident victims.
