ALBANY — This holiday season is considered to be “the most wonderful time of the year.” And St. Teresa’s Holly Berry Market is one festive way to catch the Christmas spirit. Celebrating its 20th year, this one-day event will be 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday at St. Teresa’s Church, 421 Edgewood Lane.
Vendors will display a variety of items that include jewelry, homemade goods, crafts, wood art, clothing and Christmas decorations. Santa Claus will also be in attendance to visit with children and take photos.
Lunch and snacks will be provided at the Santa Café, Mrs. Claus Bakery, and Tea Room, along with live entertainment by local talent. The Tea Room is open from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.
Raffle packages will be also be available; this year’s items include an iPad and a puppy. A complete list can be viewed at www.hollyberrymarket.com.
Tickets for the market are $2; children ages 12 and under are free.
Presented by the Parent Teacher Organization of St. Teresa’s School, the annual Holly Berry Market uses its proceeds to benefit local outreach programs including St. Clare’s Community Center and Neighbors in Need, located in Albany, and the retirement fund for the order of Sisters who founded the school in 1954.
