ALBANY — Three people were injured Thursday in a two-car accident in East Albany, police officials say. At about 11 a.m. a Chevy Tahoe driven by Shacorra Mobley, 20, was involved in a collision with a Toyota Corolla driven by Teresa Milner, 52, as she exited Walgreens Drugs at 2414 Sylvester Road onto Johnson Road, officials say.

Officials of the Albany Fire Department say the Toyota was damaged on the passenger side, requiring Milner be extricated from the vehicle by firefighters.

Phyllis Banks, spokeswoman for the APD, said Milner and Mobley, as well as a passenger in the Tahoe, were transported to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for treatment and observation. Two children, an eight-year-old passenger in the Toyota and a three-year-old passenger in the Tahoe were not injured, Banks said.

Milner was cited for failure to yield while entering the roadway and Mobley cited for driving without a license and lack of child restraint, Banks said.
