ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 37 incidents on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Aggravated assault on the 1200 block of East Residence Avenue;
— Assault on the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 400 block of Bobbitt Drive the 4000 block of Gillionville Road;
— Criminal damage to property on the 700 block of Dawson Road;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 2400 block of Dawson Road and the 2600 block of Dawson Road;
— Abandoned vehicle on the 1100 block of West Whitney Avenue;
— Disorderly conduct on the 600 block of West Lincoln Avenue, the 400 block of Faith Avenue and the 1500 block of Radium Springs Road;
— Criminal trespass on the 900 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 500 block of West Society Avenue, the 800 block of North Harding Street, the 1900 block of Elkhorn Lane, the 1500 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard, the 1400 block of East Tift Avenue and the 300 block of Grant Place;
— Driving on suspended license on the 100 block of Broadway Street and the 100 block of Liberty Highway;
— Burglary on the 400 block of Station Crossing Drive, the 2800 block of Westgate Drive, the 2300 block of East Alberson Drive, the 2000 block of McIntosh Road and the 1900 block of North Harding Street;
— Battery on the 4000 block of Gillionville Road and the 600 block of 16th Avenue;
— Entering auto on the 200 block of Monarch Drive;
— Theft by taking on the 500 block of Samford Avenue, the 1000 block of Dunes Avenue and the 600 block of South Monroe Street;
— Forgery on the 500 block of South Madison Street;
— Wanted person on the 200 block of Pine Avenue;
— Financial transaction card fraud on the 2400 block of Dawson Road;
— Theft by deception on the 1200 block of 7th Avenue;
— Negotiation of fictitious checks on the 2800 block of Dawson Road.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty Police Department responded to at least seven calls on Thursday, available reports show. The incidents included:
— Traffic accident at the intersections of Fleming and Mock Roads, and Lilly Pond and Periwinkle Roads;
— Runaway on the 1400 block of Liberty Expressway;
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least nine calls on Thursday, available records show. Calls included overheated motor, EMS assist, vehicle extrication, alarm system activations.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to 62 calls on Thursday, available records show. There were 39 medical calls and 22 trauma calls.
The medical calls included four respiratory issues, four seizures, four miscellaneous pain complaints, three cardiac arrests, one fainting and 14 various medical calls
The trauma calls included 2 auto accident victims
Other type calls were one stand-by for Albany Technical College.
