Albany police seek person of interest in Albany store robbery

Police asking the public to help them locate Johnny "Juicy" Hill

ALBANY — The criminal investigation bureau of the Albany Police Department is asking for public assistance in locating Johnny Lee Hill, also known as “Juicy” Hill, a person of interest in the armed robbery of Haley Food Mart on Tuesday.

Police officials have confirmed that Hill and his younger brother, Kenton Dontae Hill, were arrested in March for the robbery of an east Albany Dollar General. Johnny Hill was charged with aggravated assault, armed robbery, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm during commission of a crime in the robbery. Johnny Hill was also charged in an alleged car hijacking that occurred on March 9.

Officials say Johnny Hill has an active parole violation and is considered armed and dangerous. Members of the public may be eligible for a reward by calling Albany Crime Stoppers at (229) 436-TIPS with information concerning Johnny Hill.
