Jeff Flowers has been named senior vice president of operations for Phoebe Putney Health System.
Flowers, who earned a master’s degree in business administration at Auburn University, previously held the position of vice president of operations at the hospital.
Before accepting a position at Phoebe in August 2011, Flowers was the chief operating officer at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence, Ala. He held various positions with Coffee Health Group in Florence, including chief operating officer and corporate vice president of operations, for more than a decade previously. Before that, he was the chief financial officer at Florence Hospital in Florence, and also worked at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center in Florida.
Jeff and his wife, Lisa, have two sons.
Victor Garcia has been named vice president of emergency services for Phoebe Putney Health System, where he will oversee the emergency departments.
With more than a decade of experience, Garcia comes to Albany from Methodist Hospitals in Gary and Merrillville, Ind., where he was the director for critical care services. Before that, he was the director of critical care at Methodist Hospital of Sacramento, Calif. He had previously held the same position at Mercy Gilbert in Gilbert, Ariz., and at Phoenix Memorial in Phoenix, Ariz.
Garcia received his bachelor’s degree in nursing from Indiana University in Gary, Ind., and his MBA from the University of Phoenix in Phoenix, Ariz.
Garcia and his wife, Rebecca, have four children.
