BLAKELY - Tommy Hull, 84, formerly of Blakely, Ga., died Friday morning, Dec. 20 in the Kennestone Hospital, Marietta, Ga. His funeral will be held Monday morning, Dec. 23, 2013 at 11 A.M. in the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Dwight Bishop officiating. The burial after the funeral in the Blakely Cemetery will be for FAMILY ONLY. Visitation will be in the church social hall starting at 10 AM up until right before funeral time. Pallbearers will be Donnie Hull, Phil Hull, Eric Young, Wendell Brooks, Frank Bullington and Gary Maxted. Honorary pallbearers will be the Methodist Men’s Bible Class.
Mr. Hull was born October 26, 1929 in Bastrop, LA to the late Bertel Jabez Hull and Pauline Dearing Hull. He was a Master Electrician, having worked for and retired from Georgia Pacific Paper Mill around 1994. He was in the U. S. Navy during peacetime and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Arlene Hull and a brother, Paul Hull.
His survivors include 2 sons: Donnie Hull & his wife Jean of Woodstock, Ga. and Phil Hull & his wife Myra of Musella, Ga. He has 2 grandsons: Matthew Hull & Monica Welch of Alpharetta, Ga. and Phil Hull his wife Jessica of Knoxville, Ga. He also has 2 great grandchildren, Daniel & Dylan Hull.
