BLAKELY - Woodrow Leggett Odom, 54, of 124 Bud Harrell Rd., Bainbridge, Ga., died Friday afternoon at the home
of his mother in Bainbridge, Ga. His funeral will be held Tuesday morning, Dec. 24, 2013 at 11 AM in the
Climax Baptist Church, Climax, Ga. Rev. Steve Poppell and Rev. Tim Harrell will be officiating the church
service, and Rev. Milton Harrison will be conducting the interment service which will be held at the Mt.
Olive Cemetery, out from Bainbridge, on Mt. Olive Church Rd. . Serving as pallbearers will be Dale
Brown, Darrell Odom, Roy Odom Jr., Boulder Brown, Don Whitmire, Steve Novak, Christian Novak and
Wesley Salter. The family will receive friends at the church for visitation starting at 9:30 until 10:30 on
Tuesday, Dec. 24 th, right before the funeral.
Mr. Odom was born August 4, 1959 in Donalsonville, Ga. to the late Woodrow Leggett Odom and to his
mother, Mrs. Palestine Tomlinson Pearce of Bainbridge, Ga. He was a Meat Cutter for Harvey’s supermarket
before he became disabled. He was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Bainbridge. Other than
his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Cook and by a daughter, Andrea Ruth Odom Ward.
His survivors include his mother, Palestine Pearce and his step-father, Leonard Pearce of Bainbridge,
Ga., his daughter, Alexis Odom of Bainbridge, a sister, Kathy Davis and husband Gary of Leesburg, Ga.
and a brother, Sam Odom of Bainbridge, Ga.
