ALBANY — An incident involving gunshots being fired into a residence in south Albany over the weekend remains under investigation, reports from the Albany Police Department show.

On Sunday at around 6 p.m., officers responded to 902 Willow Wood Drive, Apt. A, in response to an aggravated assault. A 43-year-old woman reported that shots had been fired into the home through the living room window. Another woman, age 22, was also in the home at the time of the shooting. No injuries were sustained as a result, nor have any suspects been apprehended in connection to the incident, a spokeswoman for the APD said on Monday.

The case remained open and active as of Monday afternoon. No further information on the case was immediately available.
