Police/Fire/EMS report for February 5, 2013

ALBANY, Ga. — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 62 incidents Saturday, Sunday and into the early hours of Monday, available reports show. Incidents included:

— Domestic disputes on the 300 block of Wells Avenue and the 1600 block of Sunny Lane;

— Simple assaults on the 1400 block of East Residence Avenue and the 1200 block of Van Deman Street;

— Entering autos on the 1400 block of Owens Avenue and the 900 block of 10th Avenue;

— Terroristic threats and acts on the 800 block of Rosedale Avenue;

— Aggravated assaults on the 500 block of South Jefferson Street and the 1000 block of West Lincoln Avenue;

— Driving while license suspended on the 1700 block of Spruce Lane and the 1500 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Disorderly conduct on the 1300 block of Edgerly Avenue and the 1400 block of East Society Avenue;

— Robbery by intimidation on the 300 block of West Whitney Avenue;

— Thefts by taking on the 2200 block of Clark Avenue and the 800 block of West 16th Avenue;

— Public indecency (saggy pants) on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;

— Thefts by shoplifting on the 300 block of North Slappey Boulevard and the 2600 block of Dawson Road;

— Burglaries in the first degree on the 300 block of Elsom Street and the 1000 block of Inverness Road;

— Open container on the 200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Misrepresentation of age on the 700 block of East Broad Avenue;

— Assault on the 100 block of Thornton Drive;

— Missing juvenile on the 300 block of Forrestal Lane;

— Aggravated battery on the 1500 block of Clark Avenue;

— Vandalism on the 800 block of West Highland Avenue;

— Driving under the influence on the 1200 block of North Jefferson Street;

— Robbery by force on the 800 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Simple battery on the 100 block of North Harding Street;

— Criminal trespass on the 1000 block of Pine Avenue;

— Financial transaction card theft on the 400 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Unruly child on the 3100 block of Fernridge Drive;

— Battery on the 600 block of South Shadowlawn Drive and the 1900 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;

— Motor vehicle theft on the 2000 block of Hubert Avenue;

— Interference with a city officer on the 2400 block of Dawson Road;

— Cruelty to animals on the 1200 block of Schley Avenue.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 41 calls on Saturday and Sunday, available reports show. Incidents included:

— Criminal trespass on the 1200 block of LaJuana Lane and the 100 block of Shady Glen Lane;

— Motor vehicle theft on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road;

— Auto accidents on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road and the 4500 block of Leary Road;

— Traffic arrests on the 2200 block of South Westover Boulevard and the 200 block of Pine Bluff Road.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 30 calls from Friday through Sunday evening, available reports show. Incidents included EMS assistance, trash fires, stove fires, a vehicle fire, vehicle accidents, brush fires and a structure fire on Johnson Road causing $35,000 in damage.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to a total of 55 calls on Sunday, available reports show. There were 41 medical calls, 13 trauma calls and one assistance call from the Albany Fire Department. Medical calls included, but were not limited to, eight chest pain calls, six respiratory issue calls, four miscellaneous pain calls, two altered mental status calls and 19 various medical calls. Trauma calls included, but were not limited to, eight auto accident victims and two falls.
