ALBANY, Ga. — Albany police responded to at least 41 incidents Wednesday into the early hours of Thursday, according to available reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Drunken driving on the 600 block of South Slappy Boulevard and the 2400 block of Clark Avenue;
— Loitering and obstruction of free passage on the 400 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Battery on the 2500 block of Cardinal Street;
— Motor vehicle thefts on the 1300 block of Stuart Avenue, the 2800 block of Gillionville Road, the 2700 block of Dawson Road and the 100 block of School Street;
— Recovered property on the 300 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
— Burglary on the 100 block of Mitchell Avenue;
— Thefts by taking on the 400 block of West Third Avenue, the 2000 block of Tompkins Avenue and the 2500 block of Crescent Drive;
— Disorderly conduct on the 900 block of North Harding Street and the 1300 block of East Society Avenue;
— Battery (domestic) on the 900 block of Jeffries Avenue and the 200 block of Barton Avenue;
— Assault (domestic) on the 300 block of East Oakridge Drive;
— Aggravated assault (domestic) on the 700 block of West Highland Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least 20 calls Wednesday, according to reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Family violence on the 1500 block of Antioch Road;
— Wanted person on the 1400 block of South Mock Road;
— Vehicle crash involving a turkey on the 7500 block of State Highway 234;
— Vehicle crash involving a deer on Tarva Road.
DOUGHERTY COUNTY EMS: Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to 55 calls on Wednesday, including 44 medical calls, 10 trauma calls and one Albany Fire Department assist.
Medical and trauma calls included, but were not limited to, six respiratory problems, five chest pain calls, four miscellaneous pain calls, three diabetic issues, 23 various medical calls, three vehicle crash victims and two falls.
