Police/Fire/EMS report for February 9, 2013

ALBANY, Ga. — Albany police responded to at least 40 incidents Thursday into the early hours of Friday, according to available reports. Police responded to incidents including:

— Drunken driving on the 2400 block of Clark Avenue and the 3600 block of Old Dawson Road;

— Disorderly conduct on the 1300 block of East Society Avenue and the 2400 block of Clark Avenue;

— Thefts by taking on the 1000 and 1100 blocks of East Roosevelt Avenue, the 300 block of Tallulah Drive, the 600 block of South Madison Avenue and the 2600 block of Gillionville Road;

— Motor vehicle thefts on the 1000 block of Davidson Drive and the 2800 block of Gillionville Road;

— Missing adult on the 3500 block of Wicklow Road;

— Sexual battery on the 200 block of Marie Road;

— Possession of less than an ounce of marijuana on the 1300 block of South Van Buren Street;

— Burglaries on the 200 block of East Oakridge Drive, the 1000 block of Rosedale Avenue, the 100 block of Morningside Drive and the 700 block of Cherry Avenue;

— Financial identity fraud on the 1100 block of Peachtree Terrace;

— Injured person on the 400 block of Poplar Street;

— Aggravated assault on the 300 block of Tallulah Drive;

— Missing juvenile on the 500 block of Broad Avenue;

— Terroristic threats and acts on the 300 block of West Oakridge Drive;

— Battery (domestic) on the 200 block of Barton Avenue and the 700 block of West Society Avenue;

— Assault (domestic) on the 400 block of Jeffries Avenue;

— Domestic call (unfounded) on the 1000 block of Moultrie Road.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least 12 calls Thursday, according to reports. Police responded to incidents including:

— Family violence, verbal, on the 3700 block of Blue Springs Road;

— Identity theft, fraud, on the first block of Luke Drive;

— Vehicle crashes on State Highway 300 at Harris Road and on State Highway Three at Dougherty Avenue.

ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to 36 incidents Thursday, including nine false alarms, two unattended cooking incidents, two grass fires, two authorized burns, three vehicle fires, two controlled burns, an overheated vehicle, seven EMS assists, two electric shorts, an activated alarm, natural gas odor, cable line down and two vehicle crashes.
