From an Albany Police Department report:
Missing person Jerry Kicklighter was located today at 7 a.m. By Lee County Sheriff's Office deputies.
Kicklighter was found wandering around the Publix parking lot, 1212 US 19 South, by Sgt. J. Allen.
He was checked by Lee County EMS and no medical attention was required.
Kicklighter was taken to Phoebe North Hospital and turned over to family member Julie Kicklighter.
Missing man bulletin from Tuesday:
Jerry Kicklighter, 73, was last seen wearing a long sleeve gray shirt. He went missing from Phoebe North between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. Tuesday. He suffers from dementia, an Albany Police Department bulletin stated.
Kicklighter is 6 feet tall and weighs about 110 pounds. Black jacket, gray sweater, and unknown pants.
Police say that he may be hitch hiking to Americus. If you see Kicklighter or have any information call police at (229) 431-2100.
