ALBANY, Ga. — Thieves stole 30 televisions from a storage unit in the Hilton Garden Inn parking lot, 101 S. Front St., according to an Albany Police Department report. Nah, storage unit in the parking lot screams "outside job", LOL

Yes, I think inside. Particularly if it has not been a popular target of downtown shoppers.

I'm with you Sis...

I agree with Sis Ruby. An employee must have tipped off some friends about the televisions.

He's the one that deduced the vandalism/shots at the home and office of the local paper's editor was in fact directed at the editor.

Now, how many honest Citizens will buy one of these sets for a bargin price out of the back of a truck? How many do you think will drop a dime on the folks that pulled it off when they are selling the sets. Or will it be looked upon as reparations to the Poor from the man and the sets calmly ignored by DEFACS when they visit. Excuse me, if they visit.

.......oh let me answer.....let me answer........the same ones who clamor at the trunk of the car of the nice man passing out free phones in the parking lot of the mall? they gonna be the buyers? now let me try to guess who are gonna be the sellers......hmmmmmm......let me get back to you on that..and on the DFACS question......your guess is as good as mine, as far as visiting goes as I have had to deal with them in the past when I worked and I would rather pull a tusk from a walrus than wait for a DFACS person to do a home visit.

Trap guns are out of favor right now, but another good security device would be Slim Whitman recording of cattle call at 105dB played as the door opened. It worked on Martians

Now the teargas device the Pawn Shop used on the East side sure worked well a couple of years ago.

I wonder if Garden Inn has awaken and know they should never have located in downtown Albany - such a low llife city! I predict they will lose their standing really soon.

Keep repeating to yourself: There is no crime downtown.
Any business thinking of locating downtown needs to understand this is just part of the cost of doing business.

Is this close to where J. D. works? He's going to be disallusioned.
