WASHINGTON — The Albany Herald will stream live the 2013 Citizens Medal Ceremony this morning when Pamela Green Jackson, of Albany, is to accept the medal at the White House.
The ceremony is slated to start at 11 a.m. and can be seen at www.albanyherald.com.
The Citizen's Medal is the second-highest civilian honor awarded by the United States. Jackson received the honor based on her non-profit foundation, which works to help curb childhood obesity.
