Police/Fire/EMS report for February 15, 2013

ALBANY, Ga. — Albany police responded to at least 39 incidents Wednesday into the early hours of Thursday, according to available reports. Police responded to incidents including:

— Deceased person on the 2500 block of Crescent Avenue;

— Theft by taking on the 300 block of Flintside Drive, the 500 block of West Highland Avenue, the 1200 block of Fifth Avenue, the 800 block of 11th Avenue, the 2000 block of Jones Avenue and the 2900 block of West Doublegate Drive;

— Disorderly conduct on Third Avenue at North Slappey Boulevard;

— Burglary on the 100 block of South Front Street and the 600 block of Johnson Road;

— Unruly child on the 1500 block of East Residence Avenue;

— Aggravated cruelty to animals on the 600 block of Dorsett Avenue;

— Aggravated assault on the 1000 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Robbery by force on the 800 block of Willie Pitts Jr. Road;

— Entering auto on the 2000 block of West Broad Avenue;

— Missing person on the 700 block of Bobbit Drive;

— Loitering on the 700 block of East Broad Avenue;

— Possession of less than an ounce of marijuana;

— Aggravated assault on the 400 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Criminal trespass, battery (domestic) on the 400 block of West Lincoln Avenue;

— Domestic (unfounded) on the 1900 block of Gillespie Avenue.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least eight calls according to police reports.

Police responded to incidents including:

— Traffic arrest/wanted person for probation violation on Westover Road at Phillips Road.

ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to 12 incidents.

— Two assist EMS, five false alarms, flooding in area and four active alarms.
