Police/Fire/EMS report for February 19, 2013

ALBANY — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 39 incidents Saturday, Sunday and into the early hours of Monday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Domestic dispute (unfounded) on the 1100 block of Crawford Drive and on the 1700 block of Clark Avenue;

— Unruly child on the 800 block of Corn Avenue and on the 1700 block of East Broad Avenue;

— Discharging a firearm in city limits on the 900 block of Willowwood Drive;

— Disorderly conduct on the 800 block of Ninth Avenue and on the 1200 block of Towering Pines Lane;

— Battery on the 1300 block of East Tift Avenue;

— Driving on a suspended license on the 2700 block of Phillips Drive;

— Assault on the 200 block of Cordele Road;

— Interference with city officers on the 800 block of West Whitney Avenue and on the 300 block of South Mock Road;

— Criminal trespass on the 1400 block of East Lincoln Avenue and on the 2400 block of Dawson Road;

— Entering auto on the 1300 block of East Fourth Avenue;

— Driving under the influence on the 2800 block of Nottingham Way and on the 1000 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive;

— Public indecency (saggy pants) on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;

— Recovered property on the 1700 block of Sharon Drive;

— Violation of emergency telephone use on the 1600 block of Pineview Avenue;

— Wanted person on the 1400 block of East Broad Avenue;

— Acquisition of gasoline without payment on the 400 block of North Westover Boulevard;

— Missing person on the 600 block of South Maple Avenue and on the 1000 block of Seventh Avenue;

— Theft by shoplifting on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;

— Burglary in the 2nd degree on the 1000 block of West Gordon Avenue;

— Terroristic threats and acts on the 1800 block of Newton Road and on the 1200 block of West Whitney Avenue;

— Simple battery (domestic violence) on the 1600 block of Northwood Drive.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 11 calls on Saturday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Traffic accident (private) on the 4500 block of Sylvester Road;

— Family violence on the 1200 block of Paul Lane.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 26 calls Friday through Sunday, available reports show. The incidents included an animal rescue, multiple structure fires, trash fires, several vehicle crashes, a grass fire and EMS assistance.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to a total of 62 calls on Sunday, available reports show. There were 47 medical calls, 13 trauma calls and two assistance calls from the Albany Fire Department.

The medical calls included, but were not limited to, nine miscellaneous pain calls, seven respiratory issue calls, three chest pain calls, two altered mental status calls and two diabetic issue calls. The trauma calls included, but were not limited to, five falls and four auto accident victims.
