SAVANNAH — Phillip Phillips, of Leesburg, the reigning “American Idol” champion, is scheduled to perform April 7 at the annual Campus Union Board Big Show concert at Armstrong Atlantic State University’s Fine Arts Center, 11935 Abercorn St., in Savannah.
Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and Phillips will be preceeded by opening act Churchill, university officials said. Tickets go on sales March 16 and can be pruchased at the university’s box office or online via Vendini.
Phillips’ debut album, “The World from the Side of the Moon,” which was released in November, topped the Billboard rock album chart and quickly earned Gold Record status. His debut single “Home” has gone triple platinum and was used as the soundtrack for the 2012 US Olympics Women’s Gymnastics team and, more recently, has become the unofficial theme for Hurricane Sandy relief. Phillips released his second single, “Gone Gone Gone,” last month.

Who was it on one of these threads said he wasn't much? I remember you. You can now admit your error and there will be no embarrassing revelations. Just let me read a note to the effect this guy is good or something like that.
