ALBANY, Ga. — The Albany-Dougherty branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People is hosting a Black History Celebration Program at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Albany Civic Center.
The speaker will be the National NAACP Region Five Director Kevin Myles. Featured entertainment will be by Kenneth Thomas and the Southwest Georgia Mass Choir.
Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased from members of The Albany-Dougherty NAACP Branch, 136 N. Magnolia St., or by calling (229) 432-7941.
