Police/Fire/EMS report for February 23, 2013

ALBANY, Ga. — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 26 incidents on Thursday and into the early hours of Friday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Disorderly conduct on the 1300 block of Eager Avenue and the 2700 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Missing person on the 1500 block of Whiting Drive;

— Criminal trespass on the 300 block of Mock Road, the 100 block of Bridges Lane, the 200 block of Barfield Drive, 2500 Lafayette Plaza, the 1600 block of Schley Avenue, the 300 block of Grant Place and the 900 block of Jefferies Avenue;

— Obstructing an officer on the 800 block of Whiting Drive and the 1700 block of Clark Avenue;

— Wanted person on the 800 block of West Highland Avenue and the 2300 block of Sharon Drive;

— Simple battery on the 600 block of Sands Drive and the 300 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Battery on the 700 block of Mobile Avenue (domestic dispute);

— Theft by taking on the 600 block of Sands Drive and the 200 block of Ebony Lane;

— Assault on the 2500 block of Forsyth Drive (domestic dispute);

— Aggravated assault on the 100 block of Slappey Boulevard and the 2700 block of West Oakridge Drive;

— Burglary in the 1st degree on the 200 block of Marie Road;

— Recovered property on the 200 block of Marie Road;

— Domestic dispute on the 600 block of 10th Avenue (unfounded).

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 23 calls on Thursday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Criminal trespass on the 3300 block of Sylvester Road;

— Family Violence on the 3400 block of Sylvester Road;

— Burglary on the 200 block of Eight Mile Road.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least seven calls on Thursday and into the early hours of Friday, available records show. The incidents included an activated alarm, cardiac arrest, a grease fire and a bad light ballast.

DOUGHERTY EMS: the Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to 49 calls on Thursday, available records show. There were 38 medical calls, and 11 trauma calls.

The medical calls included, but were not limited to, nine chest pain calls, three respiratory issue calls, two mental health calls and two miscellaneous pain calls.
