ALBANY, Ga. — Women who may have a wedding in their foreseeable future — and young girls whose dreams may be a few years down the road — will be catered to Sunday at the annual Albany Mall Bridal Expo.
Numerous vendors will be on hand to answer questions about everything bridal from 1-6 p.m. at Albany Mall. The free event will also include a fashion show and fun games, according Erin Whatley of The Albany Herald, one of the program’s sponsors.
“We’ll have everything there,” Whatley said. “Boutiques that sell wedding dresses, photographers, caterers, you name it.”
Vendors participating include The Albany Herald, Belk, Concierge Catering, Dillard’s, Dangerous Entertainment, David’s Bridal, Design Elegance, Golden’s Table Toppers, Little River Plantation and Quail Landing, Men’s Warehouse and Tux, Party Plus Wedding, Sarah Eldridge Photography, Southwest Georgia Living Magazine, Thirty One Gifts and Wynfield Plantation.
The vendor booths open at 1 p.m. Whatley said free bridal bags will be provided for the first 200 couples who sign in at the welcome table.
A fashion show will be conducted by David’s Bridal and Men’s Warehouse and Tux at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. at the Expo Stage.
Also, Create-A-Dress games are planned at 1:30 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. in the Dillard’s Wing.
Whatley said those attending are encouraged to complete visitation cards and return them to The Herald’s booth. A drawing for prizes is planned at 5:30 p.m. on the Expo Stage. The registered participants must be present to win.
The Herald’s registration table will be located near Dillard’s.
