My dictionary defines conservative: Protection from loss, waste, preservation of established traditions and to oppose changes that will hurt social and economic issues. Our Constitution, along with its amendments, has served us well for over 200 years.
Our country has been hurt economically (Iraq and Iran wars) by conservatives and by Democrats (Obama bailing the banks and Wall Street out of the mess they made). Obama says he is willing to compromise. Is he really? I haven’t seen him do that yet.
He exerts his executive privilege every time he can. The liberals want the conservatives to do all the compromising. Our country is $16 trillion in debt. Just like you can’t get blood from a turnip, you can’t get money from a tree. Congress needs to work together to cut spending.
