Police/Fire/EMS report for February 26, 2013

ALBANY, Ga. — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 50 incidents Saturday, Sunday and into the early hours Monday, available reports show. Incidents included:

— The apprehension of wanted persons on the 800 block of Cotton Avenue, All-American Bowling, Harvey’s Supermarket on Dawson Road, Wal-Mart on Cordele Road and Shadowood Apartments.

— Driving on a suspended license on the 1900 block of Jackson Street;

— DUI on the 1600 block of Clark Avenue;

— Burglaries on the 88 block of Maple Street, the 1500 block of West Fourth Avenue and the 1100 block of Carroll Street;

— A saggy pants arrest on the 700 block of W. Oglethorpe Boulevard;

— Entering auto on the 200 block of East Road;

— Thefts by taking at the Clarendon Apartments and the 2600 block of Cardinal Drive;

— A stolen automobile on the 300 block of Tallulah Drive;

— Aggravated assaults on the 900 block of Wall Street and the 600 block of S. Slappey Boulevard;

— Two males arrested on charges of disorderly conduct on the 2300 block of Old Dominion Drive.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 31 calls over Saturday and Sunday, available reports show. Incidents included:

— Theft on the 700 block of Cordele Road;

— A public intoxication arrest on the 1100 block of Fleming Road;

— A family violence arrest on the 550 block of Hill Road;

— Burglary on the 2600 block of North Avenue;

— A disorderly house on the 2600 block of Great Oak Street;

— Domestic violence on the 4800 block of Impala Drive.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 25 calls from Friday through Sunday, available reports show. Calls included a minor house fire on the 200 block of Cone Street, cardiac arrest, possible gas odor, electrical arcing, an EMS assist, a downed power line and several shorted outlets.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to a total of 50 calls on Sunday, available reports indicate, including 40 medical calls and nine trauma calls. Medical calls included, but were not limited to, seven respiratory issue calls, five miscellaneous pain calls, four chest pain calls, one cardiac arrest, one altered mental status, one seizure call and 17 various medical calls. Trauma calls included, but were not limited to, four auto accidents and three falls.
