"When I was growing up, if you saw a car speeding up, slowing down or weaving from side to side for no apparent reason, it was probably because a girl was sitting too close to her boyfriend on the front seat. Now, it’s probably because someone is talking or texting on a cell phone. I liked the old way better. "

Now a girl can't sit close. There's a console in the way. And has, the old way was better, and a lot more fun.

You can still get close with the one you love in the new bucket seats... :)

Kinky! Could be fun. I had a VW beetle in college. It can be done.

So, would you say that drivers were better "multi-taskers" back then? :)

A friend and I went to a party in about 1963. When we getting ready to leave three girls asked to go with us and we ,being gentlemen agreed. The only slight problem was that I was driving a 1958 Corvette. It was sensory overload.

A great classic car.

Aw come on now. The 1958 Corvette didn't have any sensors. LOL

Back in the "day" there was less traffic to get in our way while we were multi-tasking. Not only do we have to watch out for the people using their phones, but for the intoxicated.

Heck, the Drunks were always there. There were several I can remember that the Police knew right where to take them, and it wasn't jail. Some of the important ones even got their car driven home for them. You used to never hear of a Politician or Policeman charged with DUI, yet a lot of them regularly drove impaired.

They must be doing some of the smooching because there are a lot more out of wedlock babies being born today. Back then most folks got married because they respected each other. It a man and I mean a man, was not willing to marry you if you got pregnant, then he was not worth anything anyway. The rule still holds true today, but the girls are a lot more dense.

I am 60 years old and born from out of wedlocked parents. It went on in the 1950's as well.

Hell, the 1920's decade was known as the backseat bedroom years. With those new flivvers it was hard for the girl's old man to catch up in a horse drawn buggy. We are not talking about a recent invention.

Why is it the girl's fault? Takes two to tango.
FryarTuk 2 months, 3 weeks ago
The girls are not more at fault. The white trash boys just can't keep their mouths shut about a good thing. You are right it takes two to tango and it is fun.

To the " Christian" squawker wanting us to pray for Oduma instead of complaining about him. I have but he is still here.
