ALBANY -- Funeral service for Claudia Garry Matthews formerly of Americus, Sumter County, Georgia will be conducted 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 1, 2013 at St. James Baptist Church, 144 MLK Jr Drive, Baconton, Georgia. Interment will follow in Oakview Cemetery, Martin Luther King Jr. Dr., Camilla, Georgia.
Survivors are a devoted husband, Jason Matthews; Children, Gregory Roberts, Kendrick Roberts and BeShawn Roberts; father, Arthur Lee Garry; six grandchildren; brothers, Arthur James Garry, Sr. and Samuel Garry.
The remains maybe viewed at Meadows Funeral Home of Albany, Georgia 315 South Madison St., Albany, Georgia 31701 on Thursday, February 28, 2013.
The remains will lay in state at the church one hour prior to service at St. James Baptist Church on Friday, March 1, 2013.
