ALBANY, Ga. — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 33 incidents on Tuesday into the early hours of Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Theft by conversion on the 1900 block of Avalon Avenue;
— Unruly children on the 1400 block of Gordon Avenue and the 900 block of Oakdale Court.
— Entering auto on the 2500 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Burglaries in the first degree on the 800 block of Dorsett Avenue, the 1000 block of Blakely Court and the the 2500 block of Crescent Drive;
— Burglary in the second degree on the 2400 block of Sylvester Road;
— Thefts by taking on the 600 block of 16th Avenue, the 900 block of Mercedes Street, the 100 block of North Slappey Boulevard, the 1700 block of Gillespie Avenue, the 500 block of West Fifth Avenue and the 1300 block of West Highland Avenue;
— Criminal damage to property in the second degree on the 2600 block of Erika Court;
— Aggravated assault on the 600 block of Bobbitt Drive;
— Disorderly conduct on the 200 block of Cordele Road and the 400 block of South Jefferson Street;
— Criminal trespass on the the 500 block of Louis Avenue, the 900 block of Mercedes Street, the 900 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard and the 2500 block of Crescent Drive;
— Contempt of court on the 2000 block of Palmyra Road;
— Financial transaction card fraud on the 100 block of Front Street and the 300 block of Lincoln Avenue;
— Driving on suspended license on the 1600 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Robbery by sudden snatching on the 800 block of Byron Road;
— Assaults, family violence, on the 900 block of West Tift Avenue, the 1900 block of South Riverview Circle and the 500 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive;
— Aggravated assault, family violence, on the 1500 block of West Lincoln Avenue.
DOUGHERTY COUNTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 16 calls on Tuesday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Family violence on the 4600 block of Gillionville Road;
— Traffic arrest on the the 800 block of the Liberty Expressway;
— Traffic accident, animal, on the 800 block of the Liberty Expressway;
— Burglary on the 2600 block of North Avenue;
— Missing juvenile on the 800 block of Putney Avenue.
ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 10 calls on Tuesday into the early hours of Wednesday, available records show. Incidents included activated fire alarms, an overheated A/C motor, clothes burning in dryer and a shorted oven element.
DOUGHERTY COUNTY EMS: Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to 58 calls on Tuesday, including 45 medical calls and 13 trauma calls, available records show. Medical calls included, but were not limited to, 12 respiratory issue calls, four chest pain calls, three miscellaneous pain calls, three seizure calls, three altered mental status calls, one person fainted, one diabetic call, one OB/labor call and 18 various medical calls. Trauma calls included, but were not limited to, two falls and eight auto accident victims.
