ALBANY, Ga. — The Albany YMCA’s annual dinner is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday at Merry Acres Event Center, 1500 Dawson Road. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., YMCA officials said.
The event is designed to celebrate the organization’s accomplishments of 2012, to share the community impact of the Y and to honor exceptional volunteers, members, and staff of the organization, officials said. The speaker will be Col. Don Davis, commanding officer of Marine Corps Logistics Base-Albany, who will share his thoughts about community values and collaboration.
Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased before the event at the YMCA or at the door the night of the event. Contact JJ Edge at (229) 436-0531 ext. 203 for reservations.
Van Yielding and Vansant & Corriere LLC are helping sponsor the event.
