PELHAM -- Jacquelyn Christine Clements Twitty, 90, of Lawrenceville, GA and formerly of Pelham, GA died Tuesday February 26, 2013 at Eastside Medical Center in Snellville, GA.
Funeral services will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday March 2, 2013 at Hand Memorial United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Pelham City Cemetery with Minister Don West officiating and Buster Clements, Phil Saunders, W.C. Kinard, Neil Hilliard, George Monk, Danny Davis as pallbearers.
Jacquelyn was born January 14, 1923 in Moultrie, GA to the late Grady and Maryed Ashley Clements. She was married to William "Bill" Twitty, worked as a homemaker, and retired as an office manager for Georgia-Florida Railroad. She was a member of Pelham Presbyterian Church as well as the Pelham Garden Club, Pelham Arts and Heritage Council, United Methodist Women, and Daughters of the American Revolution.
She leaves behind her husband, William "Bill" Twitty of Snellville, GA, her children Ellen Loving and her husband, Lee, and Jim Twitty and his wife, Terri. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Caroline Loving, Amy Loving, Lauren Twitty, and Steven Arrick.
Jacquelyn was preceded in death by her parents, Grady and Maryed Clements, her sister, Maryed Meeks, and her brothers, Allan Clements and Gresham Clements.
