I just could not wait to write this article. I just hope I don't sound too Southern.
I hope our new Mississippi transplant will continue to straighten out the eastern part of the South. Since he seems to know a lot about the Ku Klux Klan (especially their duration), maybe he left the western part of the South for obvious reasons.
I, personally, have never heard of a rural American. We, as citizens of Southeast America, have been labeled as rural, the Deep South, the reddest rednecks, rebels, gnat wavers and even Republicans. Yes, even part of the GOP, and the Tea Party!
We only have two terms for Northern (Northeast) people. If a Northern person comes down South to visit, he or she is a yankee. If he or she stays, they are a damn yankee!
