No racial intent, but if that isn't the Pot calling the Kettle black, I don't know what is. I trust he was looking in the mirror and holding himself accountable.

Walt, it was actually a black calling the pot a kettle in this case. Sanford sees no wrong with what he does, like the Obamacare vote which was based on "What Would Jesus Do" rather than what he would do.

Violating the "separation of church and state" principle that is loved by so many (though the phrase is not in the founding documents....)

He is throwing the issue off on the GOP. In truth, it is the Dems who have done more than their share of getting us in this situation. Rich folks have done more for this country and most of their families started out poor. Their ancestors made this country great and look what blame their offspring have gotten. Henry Ford, Carnegie on and on. You Democrats ought to be ashamed of yourself. Black folks could still be in Africa, Irish, still on the potato farm. I am not rich, and will never be, but I also do not appreciate the lies the Democrats has spewed this country with. Now that Pied Piper has been re elected, the truth is coming to light. Have fun with the less money you will get next year. You elected a winner.

You are right! Let us cut back on ALL government spending. No more Medicare, Medicade, Farm subsidies, Education spending, help for local law enforcement, nation building in foreign lands. Close all those bases that we don't need and bring them troops home... then kick them out. Yes Mam, let us cut it all. Or maybe let us take a look at it and think smart.

How about just cutting one penny out of ever dollar spent by the gov't for the next 5 years? That should be easy. All it takes is the WILL to do it which congress does NOT have.

Nobody's talking about eliminating any of those things. Just cut back 1% per year for 5 years in every category. Anybody willing to accept that challenge?

Even PolitiFact says the proposal's claims are "Half True" but at least it's a start. http://www.politifact.com/florida/statements/2012/jul/05/connie-mack/connie-mack-says-cutting-one-penny-out-every-/

Less money next year? I am already making less money this year, or should I say taking home less money. The bad thing is it's gonna get worse. Obuma, Bishop and the democrats claim to be working for the middle class citizens, heck they are crushing the middle class. With the comments Bishop made, he should be tarred and feathered and left out in the desert for the buzzards to feed off of, but I wouldn't want to get charged with cruelty to birds..

Obuma & Bishop are like twin brothers with different mothers. In their minds they are the greatest thing that ever happened to America, but they just don't know.

The big lie showed up Wednesday with the State of Georgia. I work for the State. We got our notice that "due to the 2% that Bush gave us poor folks, it was not being renewed, so our next paycheck will reflect the 2%. ---2% LESS They used the example of an employee making $35,000 annually, our bi-monthly paycheck will be approximately $29.00 - that's $58.00 a month. So all of you that does have a little job like me, BUT, you voted for the biggest liar in American history along with more liars like Bishop - I hope you realize that they have screwed the little man again!! Look at your check next week -- Be proud of your OBUMMER vote -- You fell for it -- They -- the Democrats -- have used, abused, & screwed & tattoed you again. This is the TRUTH -- Not from Fox News -- it's real life - look at your check if you get one. If you don't have a job but get your "check" in the mail or "direct deposit" -- you should say Thank you!!!
