ALBANY, Ga. — The Albany Police Department responded to at least 56 incidents Saturday, Sunday and into the early hours of Monday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Domestic dispute (unfounded) on the 200 block of Moore Avenue and on the 1200 of East Second Avenue;

— Burglary in the 1st degree on the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive and on the 200 block of North West Road;

— Assault on the 2000 block of Tompkins Avenue and on the 900 block of Friendship Drive;

— Entering auto on the 400 block of Ebony Lane and on the 3000 block of Stonewater Drive;

— Simple battery on the 600 block of West Second Avenue and on the 200 block of North Madison Street;

— Criminal trespass on the 2000 block of North Riverview Circle and on the 900 block of Peacock Drive;

— Reckless conduct on the 1100 block of Wingate Avenue;

— Theft by shoplifting on the 200 block of Cordele Road and on the 2600 block of Dawson Road;

— Disorderly conduct on the 800 block of Cotton Avenue and on the 700 block of West Society Avenue;

— Battery on the 400 block of South Harding Street;

— Probation violation on the 2100 block of South Jackson Street;

— Terroristic threats and acts on the 200 block of Lexington Drive;

— Criminal damage to property in the 2nd degree on the 1700 block of Malone Drive and on the 1700 block of Gadsden Drive;

— Lost, mislaid property on the 1400 block of Dawson Road;

— Following too closely on the 1800 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;

— Runaway juvenile on the 1500 block of West Oakridge Drive;

— Theft by taking on the 1300 block of Gillespie Avenue and on the 2300 block of Meadowbrook Lane;

— Criminal trespass, simple battery and theft by taking on the 300 block of North Jefferson Street;

— Interference with a city officer on the 1900 block of Buck Lane;

— Driving with a suspended license on the 2200 block of Leonard Avenue and on the 2200 block of South Madison Street;

— Aggravated assault on the 200 block of South Harding Street.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 17 calls on Saturday and Sunday, available reports show. The incidents included:

— Narcotics investigation on the first block of Georgia Power Road. Officers made contact with Jonathan Burris and Joseph Hicks at the Georgia Power Dam, who were in possession of marijuana and marijuana pipes. They were arrested and transported to jail.

— Driving under the influence on the 3000 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. Shareef Aqeel, who was driving a 1999 Nissan Sentra, was traveling north when officers made contact with him after he failed to maintain his lane of travel. He was arrested and taken to jail.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 15 calls Friday, Saturday and Sunday, available reports show. The incidents included an animal rescue, a house fire on the 1200 block of Van Deman Street causing $10,000 in damage, a Dumpster fire, a car fire, a shorted electrical panel and a structure fire on the 1300 block of East Fourth Avenue causing $55,000 in damage.

DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty Emergency Medical Service responded to a total of 44 calls on Sunday, available reports show. There were 38 medical calls, five trauma calls and one assistance call for the Albany Fire Department.

The medical calls included, but were not limited to, five chest pain calls, five respiratory issue calls, three miscellaneous pain calls, two seizure calls, two altered mental status calls and 19 various medical calls. The trauma calls included, but were not limited to, three

falls.
