NOBLESVILLE, Ind. — An Alabama man is facing charges alleging that he fatally stabbed a toddler believed to be his son in a suburban Indianapolis apartment.
A hearing for the 30-year-old man from Robertsdale, Ala., was scheduled for Thursday afternoon in a Hamilton County court.
Noblesville police say the man was jailed on a preliminary murder charge Wednesday evening.
Investigators say the 2-year-old boy sustained what appears to be a stab wound to the head.
Lt. Bruce Barnes says police were called to the scene for a reported stabbing around 4:45 p.m. Wednesday. He says several people were at the scene and were being questioned.
Barnes says an autopsy would be needed to determine exactly what killed the boy.
Noblesville is about 15 miles north of Indianapolis.

I can not wrap my thoughts around what makes people hurt children. It makes no sense to me...Just HORRIBLE!

Heartless Animal! It takes a cold dark hearted animal to stab a young child to death. Or hurt or kill a child in any fashion for that matter.
