BLAKELY -- Joseph Lamar Harris, passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at his residence from an accident. A Graveside service will be held on Friday, January 11, 2013 in the Blakely Cemetery at 3:00 PM. Rev. Dwight Bishop officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 1:30 to 2:30 at the funeral home.
Mr. Harris was born in Blakely, GA to the late Walter Ray Harris and Eloise Rogers Harris. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Blakely, GA.
He is survived by 3 brothers: Leonard and Amelia Harris of Mableton, GA; Larry and Mary Harris of Savannah, GA and Tim and Brenda Harris of Blakely, GA; and by several nieces and nephews.
