ALBANY -- Mrs. Lucile Henri Hall of Albany, GA passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Willson Hospice House. She was born on December 25, 1924 and adopted early in life by Lonnie and Annie Kate Jackson.
Lucile attended West Virginia State College. She received her Bachelor of Art in Education from Albany State University. She received her Masters of Art in Education from Florida A&M University. Lucile was an active member of the Mt. Zion Baptist church and served in various capacities, December Birth Month Captain, Circle #2 Missionary and General Mission Ministry. Lucile was a member of the Entre Nous Club, Eastern Star, and Daughter of Isis. Lucile taught 42 years in Worth and Dougherty County School Systems, at Coachman Park and Flintside Elementary Schools.
Lucile was united in holy matrimony to the late Julian Henry Hall on December 25, 1945 and to this union four children were born. Lucile was preceded in death by her husband Julian Henry Hall, son, Jeff Hall, and mother and father.
Survivors include two daughters, Renee Wilson (Phillip), Acworth, GA, Winnie Kate Burns, Albany, GA; a son Julian Jeff Hall (Lisa), Albany, GA; a Foster son Terry Crosley, Albany, GA, four grandchildren, Phillip (Judy), Parkersburg, WV, Jeffrey Wilson, Lawrenceville, GA, Adrienne Wesley, Charlotte, NC, Charles Burns, Albany, GA; six great-grandchildren, Faith, Breanna, Tre, and Quinten, Parkersburg, WV, Keon, Lawrenceville, GA, and King, Charlotte, NC., and a host of other relatives and special friends.
The funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 11:00AM at Mount Zion Baptist Church, 901 S. Westover Blvd.. Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on today, Tuesday, January 15, 2013 from 9:00AM until 8:30PM at M. L. King Southside Chapel, 1908 M. L. King, Jr. Dr. The family will receive friends at 209 Sunrise Drive.
