Man shot in back at residence in Dobbs Avenue trailer park

ALBANY, Ga. — Ruben Sebastian, 25, sustained a gunshot wound to the lower right back about 10:45 p.m. Friday. Sebastian was at his 90 Dobbs Ave. residence in the Oak Groves trailer park when he was shot during a robbery, according to the Albany Police Department report.

A Dougherty County EMS ambulance took Sebatian to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital with a non-life-threatening wound, said Phyllis Banks, police spokeswoman.

No information on Sebastian was available, a hospital spokeswoman said Saturday. As of Saturday afternoon, there had been no arrests in the shooting. Police said two black suspects, wearing black ski masks, dressed in black and each about 5 feet 7 inches in height were wanted in connection with the shooting.
