ALBANY, Ga. — Albany police responded to at least 51 incidents Thursday into the early hours of Friday, according to available reports. Police responded to incidents including:
— Twenty-seven-year-old Reginald Cobb drove a 2003 Chevrolet Impala east on the 800 block of Gordon Avenue, lost control of the car and hit a tree that flipped the car over. Cobb and a passenger, 21-year-old Ashley Davis, ran away from the wreck.
After they were caught and treated for minor injuries, Cobb was charged with drunken driving, driving on a suspended license and other traffic violations;
— Burglaries on the 1900 block of Riverview Circle, the 1500 block of Exeter Avenue, the 1300 block of East Residence Avenue and the 500 block of 10th Avenue;
— Thefts by taking on the 800 block of Turner Field Road, the 100 block of Mossydale Lane, the 800 block of West Broad Avenue, the 500 block of 10th Avenue, the 2000 block of Dervan Avenue and the 2200 block of Gillionville Road;
— Entering autos on the 1900 block of Greenwood Drive, the 1000 block of North Madison Street, the 1300 block of South McKinley Avenue, the 1600 block of of Acker Avenue, the 700 block of West Fourth Avenue, the 400 block of Cason Street, the 1300 block of South Slappey Boulevard and the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive;
— Deposit account fraud on the 400 block of West Broad Avenue;
— Recovered property on the 300 block of Pine Avenue and the 1500 block of Radium Springs Road;
— Disorderly conduct on the 900 block of West Residence;
— Missing juvenile/recovered juvenile on the 1400 block of Owens Avenue;
— Criminal trespass (domestic) on the 300 block of Tremont Avenue;
— Assault (domestic) on the 900 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Domestic call on the 2100 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive;
— Domestic calls (unfounded) on the 500 block of Cochran Avenue, the 600 block of 16th Avenue and the 1300 block of East Residence Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County police responded to at least 12 calls Thursday, according to reports.
Police responded to incidents including:
— Criminal trespass, warning, on the 400 block of West Third Avenue;
— Abandoned vehicle on the 3600 block of Sylvester Road;
— Criminal trespass on the 500 block of Old Pretoria Road;
— Vehicle crash involving a deer on the 1000 block of West Oakridge Boulevard.
DOUGHERTY COUNTY EMS: Dougherty County Emergency Medical Service responded to 59 calls on Thursday, including 47 medical calls, 11 trauma calls and one Albany Fire Department assist.
Medical and trauma calls included, but were not limited to, 10 respiratory issues, five miscellaneous pain calls, three seizure calls, two mental health calls, 18 various medical calls, five falls and four vehicle crash victims.
ALBANY FIRE DEPARTMENT: The Albany Fire Department responded to 18 incidents Thursday, including smoldering clothes, two cable television wires down, four false alarms, an EMS assist, two power lines down, two unauthorized burns, two active alarms, two vehicle crashes, a vacant house fire with $25,000 in damage and a residence fire with $13,000 in damage.
