ALBANY, Ga. — A book written about Christian relationships has earned an Albany woman nomination as Georgia Author the Year by the Georgia Writers Association.
Melissa Diane Hudson has written "The Female Fool: 10 Reasons Why You Aren't Attracting a Good Christian Man." Hudson said she wrote the book because so many woman are choosing the wrong mates, and some of them are dying at the hands of those mates because they failed to allow God into the relationship.
The Georgia Author of the Year will be chosen in June during ceremonies at Kennesaw State University.
Hudson has a master's degree in education with a concentration in counseling psychology. She has one son, Curtis Hudson III, and lives in Albany.

Now, Albany has two authors up for awards.
Mrs. Shirley Sherrod has been nominated for a 2013 NAACP Image Award in the Literary - Non-Fiction category for her book, "The Courage to Hope." Let's tune in SWGA to support this healing history event. Much success Mrs. Sherrod!
