ALBANY, Ga. — The Albany Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Bureau is seeking assistance from the community in locating Jimmy Johnson, age 62.
A warrant for aggravated assault/knife has been issued against Johnson for allegedly injuring his cousin Eric Clinton on New Year’s Day.
According to police department officials, at approximately 1:29 p.m. officers were dispatched to the 800 block of West Gordon Avenue in reference to an injured person. Once there, Clinton said he was attacked by Johnson, who cut him on his upper left thigh with a box cutter.
Johnson is described as 5 feet 5 to 5 feet 8 and weighing about 150 pounds.
Anyone with information regarding Johnson’s whereabouts are asked to call Crime Stoppers at (229) 436-TIPS, or contact the Albany Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Bureau at (229) 431-3288.
