So if we had no violent visual stimuli there would be no gun violence? Can we also ban the use of sexually provocative images to sell everything but sex? Can we ban Christian Mingles to avoid discrimination against non-Christians?

I can't be sure, but I don't think the point of the squawk was that violent movies should be banned. I think the point was that it's more than a bit hypocritical of these actors to put on their little sad faces and use their little sad voices to make a video calling for sweeping gun control, while making millions glamorizing gun violence in the movies.

A bit ironic that Sylvester Stalone is for stricter gun control laws for the reasons you stated, Mr Heatmiser. I agree with what you said. Hollywood has had a terrible impact on the values of this country.

There are many influences on these crazies that come from the Entertainment Industry including films and violent video games. They provide a vision and a virtual playground for what the crazies eventually bring to reality. These stimuli definitely share the culpability.
But since they pour so much money into the Democrat political machine.....they are not even mentioned.
