MANCHESTER, GA -- Catheryn Thelma Gosa, age 88, formerly of Sylvester Road, Albany GA, died January 20, 2013 in Warm Springs GA following a lengthy illness.

Born in New Amsterdam Indiana March 17, 1924, to parents Alfred and Marie Bottles, Catheryn married Edward (Ed) Charles Gosa August 1941 in Lagrange GA following his discharge from the Army in Fort Knox KY.

In 1951 they moved to Albany GA where Ed worked as an electrician for the US Marine Corps logistics base and Catheryn worked for the Post Office substation in Five Points. She was a member of the Nazarene church where she served as secretary/treasurer. Preceded in death by her parents and husband, she lived her final years with her son, Glen and his wife Judy in Manchester GA. She had one grandchild, Stephanie Lynn White and her husband, Steve of Sharpsburg GA.

Later in life she enjoyed the activities provided by the Manchester Senior Center and will be remembered for her musical talent as she played the piano and other instruments for the seniors and the residents of Warm Springs Nursing Home.

Her remains rest with her husband at Andersonville Military Cemetery in Andersonville GA .
