"President Obama has declared he plans to do something about climate change. I hope his plans include more rain for this area and I sure hope the Lord does not try to interfere."

If God intended to interfere in U.S. political affairs, He surely would have intervened to keep this worthless P.O.S. Obama from being re-elected. As it is, God has allowed us to have our way and perhaps has sent a Spirit of Deception amongst us for a period of time until we Repent of our Wickedness and Rebellion against Him.

Yes our president has said he plans to do something about about climate change and that plan is to have the EPA declare carbon dioxide (a natural occurring atmospheric gas) a pollutant so he can tax everybody who uses electricity, runs a factory, drives a car or breathes. The taxes will roll in. We shouldn't be surprised he talked about this before he was elected in 2008. And the electorate has elected him twice and we will get what we deserve for electing him.

His constituants need the money. As a so called Constitutional Scholar, our President has stated it is wrong that the Constitution prevents the redistribution of wealth. So he will do it thru new sources of income for the government, and new giveaway programs for the masses dependent upon Government for support. Instead of a short term handout, it has become a life style for too many. Plus, we, the working Taxpayers, were stupid enough not to see this comming. I have become a firm believer in under 65, no taxes, no vote.

Yes, but they also want to tax cars that get better gas mileage. Next they will tax your funeral. Go figure. They are also going to tax births. Cannot win. But this type of tax will get the pockets of deadbeats too.

I don't know, welfare mothers may be exempt from the birth tax. Obama may even give them more money for having babies.

Yes, something MUST be done about the weather. Far too many people die from excessive heat and excessive cold. EXTREME TEMPERATURES MUST BE STOPPED!!!

Hopefully, he'll put a ban on temperatures fluctuating more than 10 degrees from day to day. All this mess of being 80 one day and 40 the next wreaks havoc on my sinuses.

Is it just me. or does Obama seem to be idolized by the left. Doesn't the bible warn against this. I really enjoy watching Sean Hannity and I know he's being cynical when he refers to the president as the anointed one, but that gets under my skin too. There is a bright side to all of his Hollywood showboating, and that is he is not in Washington doing anymore damage.

When people talk to imaginary beings, they are diagnosed with schizophrenia. There are no gods. If there are, they are certainly not the omnipotent, omniscient beings the mentally ill believe they are. These mentally ill have prayed and prayed, given sacrifices, and blind faith and nothing has changed. Not what one would expect from a god. Apparently the Christian god is so weak that he must use the internet to bring his mentally ill together to mate and make more mentally ill people.

Prayer for rain is an attempt to involve God in a cooperative scheme to maintain your present living standards. No imaginable connection exists between a man's internal spiritual beliefs and a rainstorm. Citing climate change as the reason for a drought is an attempt at blaming the behavior of others for your predicament. When will the squawker take responsibility for their lot in life? Or is the squawker instead just hoping for a handout from the president or the Lord?
