ALBANY, Ga. -- Country music superstar Luke Bryan of Lee County is staking a claim to some musical ownership of a popular annual tradition -- spring break.
Bryan has announced on his website Wednesday that he's releasing his newest spring break-themed album, "Soring Break ... Here To Party," on March 5. The 14-song album will be available as a CD in stores and also digitally.
Bryan said the album will include many songs on his previous extended play discs, along with two orginal songs that the artist has written.
Also, those in the Panama City, Fla., area in mid-March might want to jot down the dates March 12-13. Bryan says he will be taking a break from his Dirt Road Diaries Tour to perform at the Spinnaker Beach Club, where he attracted crowds of more than 40,000 for each of two concerts last year.
He'll return to his Dirt Roads tour with a March 14 concert at the Amphitheater at the Wharf at Orange Beach, Ala.
According to his website, the songs that will be included on the "Spring Break ... Here To Party" CD are "Suntan City," "Just A Sip," "Buzzkill," "If You Ain't Here To Party," "Little Bit Later On," "In Love With The Girl," "Shore Thing," "Sorority Girl," "Shake The Sand," "Love In A College Town," "Wild Weekend," "Cold Beer Drinker," "Spring Break-Up" and "Take My Drunk A Home."

Must be a slow news day to have this as a headline. This is not news that directly affects folks in Southwest Georgia.

This is quite disappointing. An album about underage drunken debauchery. Should sell a million.
