ALBANY, Ga. — With power out for more than 300 residents Water, Gas and Light Commission crews responded and had the power back on in less than 50 minutes in scattered areas throughout Albany, said Lorie Farkas, WG&L spokeswoman.
"It was probably all due to the winds blowing branches down from trees," Farkas said. "They got about 250 back on after 50 minutes just in the Barnesdale (Way) Whispering Pines (Road) area."

Great job WG&L. And Postell, Piker, Marietta & the gang want to change all of this. Now really, do you want these people running your utilities in emergencies? We are in for some rough weather ahead with that crew.
