Motorcyclist killed in weekend crash identified

ALBANY, Ga. — A man killed in a weekend crash has been identified as a Marine stationed at MCLB Albany, officials say.

Police say that Ronald Nabors Jr., was killed when he struck the passenger side of an tractor-trailer at Cordele Road near Clark Avenue.

Nabors, who was traveling North on Cordele on a motorcycle struck the truck as it was making a left turn into the Pilot truck stop, APD Spokesperson Phyllis Banks says.

Nabors, who is stationed at MCLB Albany, was taken to Phoebe but later died.
